Use INR Tracker's free online drug management tools for Warfarin patients
INR Tracker was launched in April 2012 as a definitive solution for individuals taking blood thinners.
INR Tracker lets people track their Vitamin K down to the microgram with our database of 7000+ foods made by the United States Department of Agriculture. With INR Tracker, people can know exactly how much Vitamin K they've had at all times. In addition, INR Tracker allows patients to track their INR test results, drug dosages, missed/extra dosages, exercise, weight and other important INR factors.
With over 2 million people going on Warfarin each year, INR Tracker is a much needed solution.
People on blood thinners such as Warfarin need to monitor their INR very carefully at all times, because if their INR is not in a therapeutic range, their Warfarin wont work properly and they will be in danger of serious bleeding, blood clots, stroke and heart attacks. The reason people on Warfarin must constantly have their INR checked is because Warfarin is dangerous and difficult to regulate. Warfarin is extremely sensitive to things like exercise, over the counter medications, and most specifically, Vitamin K.
Vitamin K is the antidote for Warfarin and is found in a myriad of commonly used foods. Unfortunately, it is not mandated by law to have Vitamin K listed on nutrition labels which makes monitoring Vitamin K intake very difficult.
INR Tracker cares about the patient, and wants them to ultimately be healthy. That is why we are offering this service free of charge.
Until now, the majority of health care software solutions have been aimed toward doctors, hospitals and insurance companies. INR Tracker is part of the movement against that. It's time to give patients control.

In 2011 I found out the hard way that I have a genetic blood clotting disorder called Factor V Leiden. As a patient of Warfarin, I quickly discovered how difficult of a drug it is to manage. INR Tracker is designed for people like me to better deal with the treatment process.

As CCO, I am in charge of all executive cat related duties, such as watching birds, climbing things, keeping an eye on my humans, tackling strings and swatting at bugs. I have close to 1 year of experience being the Head Cat in my household. My humans and vet tell me that I am beautiful, and it's true. I am. Most importantly, I'm a tuxedo cat, so I'm always dressed sharp and to impress. I am also hoping to get a Certificate in Kittenology from the University of Pittsburgh this fall. Go Panthers!
